Liverpool-based The Boston Shakers are back with another high-octane, fun packed follow up to their first video 'All Out' with a second outing called, 'Best Things (In life are free)' from their forthcoming EP, 'Wasted'.
The Boston Shakers were formed by six friends with a love of Music and drinks that started as Bartenders. The group, collectively from France, USA and Liverpool, decided to start a band based on the music they had seen and heard from the nightlife environment.
'Best Things' does not disappoint with its hip-hop, blues-rock fused anthemic beats that is sure to be a big hit in the coming months for the band. The song has already made the airwaves on Planet Rock and that is no surprise!
The music video showcases all the fuzzy guitar, lyrical content, and swagger, experienced during the first time. 'Best Things' sees the band expanding their sound with a powerful chorus and elements of garage rock and blues put into the mix. The music video begins with the band performing in a local bar and enjoying themselves before the recognisable of an upbeat riff springs into action that is accompanied by a surge of frenetic rapping and steady drumming that sticks to the lucidity of the song. The song ends like a rollercoaster with a breakdown fused with ambient beats that will leave you wishing to hear more.
