Philadelphia has always been a city known for having some of the best singers in the country. Some of the singers that flourish in Philly aren’t actually from Philly, but somehow have ended up in the city of brotherly love. One artist that isn’t from Philly but currently lives here and is starting to build a buzz is Mashich.
Mashich is a singer originally from South Carolina, but he now lives in Philly and is doing all the right things to take his career to the next level. Recently, HipHopSince1987’s own Rick Dange linked up with Mashich for an exclusive interview. In the interview, Mashich broke down his paths from South Carolina to Philly, and spoke about some of the differences between living in South Carolina versus living in Philly. Mashich goes on to speak about how he got into music, being the only singer in a group made up of 12 rappers, his musical goals, and where he sees himself in 10 years. Mashich also talks about his upcoming project “Small Town Big City” that’s entirely produced by A.M.O Productions, his feelings about the current state of the music industry, and ends the interview by giving the viewers a taste of his vocal skills.
