2019 Mazda 3 Release Date
2019 Mazda 3
2019 Mazda 3 Review – The third generation of the Mazda 3 was launched in 2013 and since then it has become one of the best-selling hatchbacks on the market. Throughout its life, the car has received some updates with the latest addition of new features to the mix. However, to reach the top of its category, it seems that a new model will have to be published. Although not yet official, most rumors suggest that the new car will be presented with the upcoming 2019 Mazda 3. It is expected to be based on an improved SkyActiv platform and should have some features more than before.
2019 Mazda 3 Exterior
As we saw in the previous rendering, we expect the sedan to have a similar grille and thinner headlights that extend through the chrome frame. However, the grid will have a dimmed design with horizontal strips instead of honeycomb mesh, while the headlights will not be the thin LED strips carved into the front fenders. At the bottom, look for large, elegant side vents and a thin opening below the V-shaped grid.
On the sides, we hope to see a new vent similar to that of the RX-Vision, a slightly modified roofline, and new wheel models. I do not see the concept of taillights on the 2019 Mazda 3, but the rear should also be equipped with lighter units to go with the sportier design. The compact could also get blackened cuts, but most likely in its more expensive models. By designing separately, the Mazda 3 should retain the proportions of the current generation. In any case, it will be a few centimeters long and approximately one inch wider. Although we have manufactured the five-door sedan, the fourth-generation Mazda 3 will also be available as a four-door sedan.
2019 Mazda 3 Interior
The clean and simple design of the current cabin will be maintained, but several features will be redesigned for a more modern look. Notable changes should include a revised center console control design, a larger infotainment screen, probably integrated into the dashboard instead of placed on the top, a new center console with more storage space, a new steering wheel and a redesigned group of instruments. It is likely that the latter has larger screens on each side of the tachometer, while the steering wheel will look more sporty.
The redesigned front and rear seats will improve the comfort of all passengers, as well as the legs, shoulders, and headroom. With the current 2019 Mazda 3 closer to the high-end segment in terms of functionality, it is natural to assume that the next generation model will be in this department. Look for better materials, an excellent fit and finish, more leather in less expensive models, more aluminum trim and two-tone leather upholstery in the higher-end versions. On the technological front, the 2019 Mazda 3 will receive the latest news from the company. Expect improved navigation, more connectivity features, and an improved audio system.
2019 Mazda 3 Engine
It is difficult to predict the number of Engine options we will obtain with the next generation of 2019 Mazda 3, but the Japanese firm has already confirmed that the saloon will come with a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Called SkyActiv-X, this unit combines the excellent fuel economy of diesel engines with the performance and cleaner emissions of gasoline engines. This is possible thanks to the SCCI technology (Sparkled Compression Compression Ignition), a new technology that ignites the mixture of air and fuel similar to an oil burner but emits less nitrogen oxide.
Current figures for fuel economy and emissions are not yet available, but Mazda has already stated that the SkyActiv-X engine is between 20 and 30 percent more efficient than the current 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G. The Japanese firm also promises that the supercharged unit will provide 10 to 30% more torque. There are no words to say if gasoline engines of 1.5 and 2.5 liters will continue to be offered, but smaller ones are more likely to be transported. The fate of the 2.2-liter diesel is also unknown, but it could be eliminated since the new gasoline engine is significantly more efficient than its predecessor. Or we could see a new and smaller oil burner at dealerships, including North America.
New transmissions are also on the table. While the following manual could also have six sprockets, the six-speed automatic must be replaced with a seven-speed clutch. If Mazda takes the initiative and launches a hybrid transmission, the 2019 Mazda 3 could be offered as a gasoline and electric vehicle.
2019 Mazda 3 Price and release date
It is safe to assume that the next generation of 2019 Mazda 3 will be more expensive than the current model. For reference, the four-door sedan starts at $ 17,845, while the five-door sedan sells for $ 18,545 for the 2017 model year.
