During the 1992 Formula 1 season, Nigel Mansel piloted this very Williams-Renault FW14B Formula 1 car to five victories and two second place finishes, gaining it the name “Red Five” that signified the car’s red racing number, before passing it on to his Italian teammate Riccardo Patrese. From the start of the season, the FW14B jettisoned Mansell towards a great start to the season, which he then followed up with four more victories to one-up Ayrton Senna’s record of eight victories in one season. With that, Mansell comfortably brought home the 1992 driver’s championship at the Hungarian Grand Prix with five races to spare.

Following behind Nigel Mansell’s success was the “Red Five” which was no given a new nickname “White Six” denoting Patrese’s racing number. He then racked up additional World Championship points, ending the season as runner up to Mansell, together bringing Williams-Renault the 1992 Formula 1 Constructor’s World Championship.
