Enduro Champion from Honda’s Sud America Race Team, Fabino Mossini was the man appointed to reach this record-breaking height, however, further progress was stopped because of 2meters of snow ahead. Especially for this journey, the standard Africa Twin was equipped with Terimignoni exhaust, revised final sprockets, Metzeler MT360 tires and range of other genuine accessories from Honda. After almost five days of acclimatization, the accent was completed within 24 hours by the international team of five riders.
While returning back, their route comprised of broken asphalt, mud, gravel, sand along with stretches of ice pockets also known as penitents in their final leg. All these were topped with chilling temperatures reaching to a low of minus 5 degrees Celsius. By completing this feat, it clearly proves that the Honda Africa Twin has some serious credibility of being the best performing off-road motorcycle in its class.
