A lot of our readers are looking for products to best grow their beard to its full potential. We think we have done our job in explaining that a lot of the beard growing process is genetic, but there are definitely things that you can do to increase your chances.

Best Beard Balm – Honest Amish Beard Balm

ALL bearded bros should be using beard balm. I mean, there really is no excuse not to. It is affordable, and will improve the look and health of your facial hair HUGELY.

When it comes to the best beard balm that we tried in 2017, you can look no further than one of the biggest fish in the beard conditioning pond – Honest Amish.

It is one of the most popular brands on Amazon for good reason – it is the absolute bomb. It is absolutely littered with 5 star reviews, and every single reviewer at My Man Beard LOVES this product. It’s a no brainer. Get it.

Honourable Mentions: Wild Willie’s Beard Butter & Smooth Viking Beard Balm

Both of these products score highly as they were nearly as kick-ass as the Honest Amish Beard Balm but not quite as good. That said, on Amazon, there are a lot of people saying they prefer Wild Willie’s to Honest Amish, and so you should probably get both and decide which is for you.

Best Beard Trimmer – Philips Norelco Beard trimmer Series 7200

This is the ‘big one’ so to speak. There are very few things as important to the way your beard looks and feels as the trimmer you use on it.

This year, it has to be the Norelco 7200. It is INSANELY good. Oh my good god is it good. We just love it, and this was probably the easiest of all our ‘Best Of’ decisions that we came to.

Honourable Mentions: Panasonic ER-GB40 & Philips Norelco 5100

Both fantastic, stable and versatile trimmers that will give you all that you want in a trimmer. The fact that the 7200 wins this year is basically the vacuum as it is that good, but the other trimmers are wonderful in their own right. You won’t go wrong with any of these.

Beast Beard Oil – Inglorious Fuzz Beard Oil By Inglorious Fuzz

This was a contentious one here! The Inglorious Fuzz Beard Oil has been insanely popular this year with our readers, but there was also quite the push for Beardbrand Citrus Beard Oil and Mountaineer Beard Oil. We actually haven’t gotten around to reviewing Inglorious Fuzz Beard Oil properly yet here, and we will do soon, but until then, the Amazon reviews above should be enough to convince you!

Best Beard Shampoo/Conditioner – Polished Gentleman Beard Growth and Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner

This product is really brilliant. It nourishes and thickens your beard, and was extremely popular with our readers, but to be honest, we mainly chose it for its hilarious description on Amazon.

Honourable Mentions – Smooth Viking Beard Oil and Mystic Man Organic Beard Oil

These oils seem to add a bit more moisture and health to your beard than most others, and that’s why they’re right up there in the beard conditioning section. Fantastic products, the both of them.

Best Set – Beard Comb & Brush Set for Men

What this product lacks in a brandable name in the absolute slightest, it makes up with in quality.

This particular set is gorgeous. It comes with a sandalwood comb (ohhhh yeah) and a boar bristle brush. The comb has a beautiful and natural curve to it, and you will love the 100% boar bristle brush more than you probably should.

Best Beard Kit -Zeus Deluxe Beard Grooming Kit for Men

If we could get you to purchase ANYTHING for the beardsman in your life for Christmas (and there’s still time to get it before Christmas) then this would be it. In fact, seeing as most of you are men, just get yourself a well earned present of this yourself.

IT IS MAGNIFICENT.

Of all the things we could big up, this will do it’s own bigging up.

In any other category this would have probably won easily. It’s unfortunate that it is up against the best thing you could possibly get in the beard world in 2017.

Best Beard Scissors -Sanguine® Professional Mustache Scissors and Beard Trimming Scissors

Firstly, these look delicious. Secondly, they are CRAZY SHARP! Keep on the top shelf of your bathroom if you have kids running around the house, bros.

They’re a wonderful addition to any bearded bro’s arsenal, and we cannot recommend them enough.
