The Search for the Best Cordless Bread Trimmer

I’ve been looking for a cordless beard trimmer that not only works great but won’t break my budget for quite some time. I can’t stand trimmers that you charger for hours that give you only give you 15 minutes of battery life. I travel a lot for work and have realized that not every hotel bathroom features electrical plugs in the best position nor are they built to allow for a high wattage of power. Most Hotel electrical plugs have built-in breakers that shut off if you’re using too much wattage. For these reasons, I knew I was done with plugs altogether and wanted cordless beard trimmer.

I researched all of the Wahl Beard trimmers and was amazed they offer so many different versions. The chart below is an excellent comparison of the top six Wahl Beard Trimmers.

The price difference from the cheapest beard trimmer to the most expensive model is about $40. Now, I know everyone is looking for a deal, but I can tell you from a guy that works in sales, nine times out of ten, the cheaper models are not worth the savings. Most companies design one high-end model and then try to cut cost to make more affordable models to appeal to all customers. The cheaper models don’t last as long, don’t perform as well and are not worth the money you’ll save at checkout.

Wahl Beard Trimmer Review: Why I Love it

My beard is very coarse and thick. I’ve found in the past I was never quite able to get the trim I wanted with other trimmers. My beard would chew them up and spit them up. Seriously, you need power with a trimmer. There is nothing worse than a weak trimmer pulling a hair out rather than cutting it. If you’ve ever had this feeling, you’re either trimming too fast or your beard trimmer is crap.

This Wahl Beard Trimmer has changed my whole perspective on grooming and made work trips easy. I don’t mind spending money on quality, and in my opinion, the price is worth it.

I have heard that people aren’t crazy about the plastic attachments, but I actually think the attachments have their advantages really; I find them easier to care for than the metal ones. I can wash them out without fear that they’re going to rust. It may just be my personal preference, though.

One thing that I really enjoy about this trimmer is the shape of the handle. It’s not bulky in the slightest, and contours to my hand in a way that’s really comfortable. I’ve used other inexpensive trimmers in the past, and found them to be unwieldy, even awkward. The charger for this Wahl beard trimmer is large isn’t intrusive as to take up a bunch of space on my counter. I’ve found that the battery life lasts for about three trims before I have to charge it again, so about three weeks for my habits. I wasn’t able to get anywhere near that many out of my last trimmer. Your mileage may vary though, of course, depending on the length of your beard and its overall density.

I think all in all that this trimmer gives you the best value for your money. Not everyone can afford a high-end electric trimmer but this thing should last you for years. I couldn’t be any happier with the Wahl beard trimmer than I am. If you’re in the market for a solid beard trimmer guys, you really can’t go wrong with this one. I highly recommend it and hope that it works for you too.
