Interesting kilt hose worn by this circa 1880 piper.
A Scottish Wildcat sporran with three hair tassles. The kilt is also sporting a set of kilt rosettes. Great to see the gentlemans dog made it into the picture.
Wonderful bellowed kilt flashes on this gentleman’s hose.
This gentleman appears to have an almost barley twist style hilt to his dirk. Interesting variation.
This Aberdeen studio photo of a gentleman is wearing his standard tweed jacket rather than the shorter kilt style jacket. Many of the early photos show that this was common practice in the tweeds.
Interesting shooting outfit shows a laird completed with early pattern Kilmarnock bonnet with his personal crest badge. Great to see another dog in the studio.
