Warmth is really helpful to increase blood circulation, relax muscle or help in the healing of any wound related to the eye.

Eye health is a very important issue. Even if you do not have any infection or problem related to the eye, a hot compress can still be used to relax your eyes and increase blood circulation.

Tears are made of water, oils, mucus, antibodies and special proteins. They are used for moisture, lubrication, for resistance against infection.

These components are secreted by special glands. The glands are located around the eye. Dryness is caused in the eye when there is an imbalance in this tear system.

Hot compress helps to loosen the eyelid debris accumulated on eyelashes.

Due to it, the eye gland function normally as it produces more fluid oil for the eyes, this helps with the dryness of eyes.

For eye condition like the stye, it helps in increasing the blood flow. In this case, the oil which is accumulated in that part of the eye starts to dissolve reducing the swelling caused.

A Hot compress can be used three to four time in a day;

It helps you to relax by reducing pain when it comes to eyelid stye.

The first recommendation I will give when you have a stye is to use hot compress for at least two weeks before taking any other antibiotics or treatment.

Stye causes swelling. It results in immense pain.

Eyes are watery all the time and it gets tiring to even keep your eyes open for a long time.

Using hot compress for stye can be very relaxing and it can make you forget the pain for sometimes since the blood circulation starts getting normal. The warmth gives relief to the swelling and pain.

Squeezing your stye or taking out the pus can cause the infection to spread which can be more painful.

Do not wear makeup over stye because it increases the irritation and the swelling can increase too.

Make sure that your hands are clean before making the hot compress and repeat the process for at least three to four times a day for two weeks minimum for the swelling to go away.

Let’s see how to make a hot compress for stye:

SOME EXTRA TIPS

The best way if you do not want to do much work in making a hot compress is to dip a clean cloth in warm water and place it on your eyes ad it is preferable if you lie down relaxing your whole body and eyes.

If we do not have the access to anything to heat up the cloth then one simple method which will be helpful is take a handkerchief but make sure it is clean, blow hot air from your mouth on the handkerchief and put it  on your eye. It can give you relief for the time being.

Rubbing your hands and placing them on your eyes is also one way to relax your eye since we get the heat from our palm.

Eyes are very important part of our body and usually, it is a part which gets avoided the most. What we don’t realize is that our eyes are the only part of the body which is working from the morning and it requires a little rest and care at the end of the day.

Giving five minutes after a full day’s work to your eyes can be helpful in avoiding any sort of infection or eye disease.
