Imagine if you could set aside any Health issues you have now, and you could feel perfectly healthy! We get into a habit of feeling our aches and pains (or our drug side-effects), but we forget how good it used to feel just to be alive!
This is part of the magic of herbs like coffee and kratom that can reinvigorate us and let us have a taste of how it felt to be young again.
I had an interesting conversation last Saturday at the local laundromat. One of the locals I see there often asked what I did. I told him I write to defend an amazing herb that is being attacked by our media, medical authorities, and now our politicians.
This gent told me that his grandfather was an Apache Indian; his grandmother was Mexican. They used herbs for their aches and pains, as part of their tradition. They never went to medical doctors, but relied on natural plant medicines like peyote cactus, "loco weed", and other desert plants for their health concerns and well-being.
The grandfather lived to the age of 86 and died with all of his own teeth, which shows the value of avoiding the standard American diet of processed foods.
Living a natural life is still possible and compatible with our modern lifestyle, though it takes setting aside time and money for healthy physical exercise, supplements, and organic foods to compensate for the many unnatural threats (such as environmental poisons and stress that challenge us.
Reishi Mushroom is one of the (non-psychotropic) herbs I use occasionally to heighten my immune system and as a natural, whole-body tonic for health. It has been used for millennia in China and Japan and is highly revered there.
The key here is to make you body inhospitable to disease. Create, as best you can, an environment where your body has the tools it needs to fight off any and all invading toxins or microbes, so you can spend your time being productive and enjoying life.
