We often get asked if Maty's Healthy Products are certified non-GMO. And the short answer is, they are! That is, some of our products are. At Maty's, it is important that we are transparent as to what ingredients are in our products. That is why we have two lines of products, one that is certified, and another group of products that are not certified. Whenever possible we procure non-GMO ingredients for all of our natural products. But there's always that fine line of offering the best possible product at the lowest cost to you. And if we became certified non-GMO, it would add a costly expense to the product that we would have to pass along to the consumer. We didn't want to do that. However, we know it matters to so many people. That's why Maty's became USDA certified organic as the next logical step in offering you the best cough syrup available to you and your family. And did you know USDA organic regulations prohibit any genetically modified (GMO) ingredients in a certified organic product? So, Maty's certified organic cough syrups are Non-GMO! Our friends at CCOF created the informational chart below to break it down for you. At Maty's, we want to be transparent about our products and their ingredients. We also know having choices is better for our customers. That is why we offer certified non-GMO products for those of you who want them.
