Jan 28, A Small Piece of Advice for Diabetics Who Like Energy Drinks

A lot of people pass through this Website and look at the several ways you can reverse or positively influence the course of your diabetes or pre-diabetes -- but, how many of you are taking any of the actions I mention here?
We have most of the responsibility for how our health is now, and how it will turn out 20 or 30 years from now. What are you doing about that?
I have evolved beyond using the healthy energy drink I originally recommended here. I've found better ways to get the energy and the will-power to stop eating junk foods, to get out and exercise 40-60 minutes daily, and maintain my health in other ways. And the benefits of good health, aided by any of these methods is very satisfying for the small effort it takes to grab control of your fate.
If you still drink energy drinks, you are hurting your health if you're still drinking that super-sweet crap they sell in the stores -- OR the "zero carb" versions, which still produce bad results for your blood sugar. Read the scientific findings in the link below!
And yet, NOBODY ever tries the A.C.T. Energy Drink, which is one of the very few that I consider "healthy". It is very low in natural fruit sugar and uses guarana for long-lasting energy, with a little stevia for the additional sweetening that adds no calories and doesn't spike insulin. But no-one orders it. Too much trouble?
This is a great drink that helped me get off my butt and do the exercise and keep energetically doing my work, which has helped me to arrive safely at an age where many are fully diabetic. If you drink energy drinks and won't go to the minor effort to obtain the BEST for your health, I've got to wonder about what you're thinking? Too much trouble?! Compared to being diabetic?! Come on!
Youngevity, the company that makes Drink ACT, ships nearly everywhere in the world -- and may have an office in your country. Buying the powdered version will surely save you money over buying canned drinks in your local store.
If you drink energy drinks and seriously want to avoid making your diabetes worse, you should be making an effort to get the best for yourself. If not, get used to watching your health get worse.
My point here, is -- whether you drink energy drinks or not -- you can defeat this terrible disease if you get serious about correcting your risk factors. Medications don't do all the work for you. You need to help yourself.
