From Gaming Exhibits to Jaw Dropping Activations, The Trade Group Supports Multiple Clients at E3 Expo

Known as the world’s premier event for computer and video games and related products, E3 Expo brings leading-edge companies, industry thought leaders and gamers together to experience the latest technology, new games and innovative products in the gaming industry.

Over the past decade, The Trade Group has built a reputation as the go-to source for trade show exhibits, experiences and activations for the gaming industry. So it comes as no surprise that many of the top industry players rely on The Trade Group to design, build and support exhibits, live events and activations at premier gaming industry events like E3.

TTG creates exhibit spaces for Twitch, Facebook Gaming, Dell Gaming and others

For E3 2018, The Trade Group supported clients old and new, from industry legends to up-and-comers. Gaming exhibit projects included:

Twitch. For legendary live-streaming video platform Twitch, The Trade Group created a robust, multi-purpose exhibit. Features included gaming stations, a meet and greet station, streaming pods, Twitch partner lounge, massive hanging sign and more.

Facebook Gaming. A new face in the world of video gaming, Facebook Gaming enlisted The Trade Group to create an exhibit with several distinct spaces including a livestream stage, Instagram pod, Oculus stations, streaming pods and a VIP lounge. At E3, attendees could find a number of fun ways to interact with the brand and learn more about what Facebook Gaming has to offer.

Dell Gaming/Alienware. In partnership with Double A Events, The Trade Group created this 40’x50’ trade show exhibit, including virtual reality and other interactive experiences that highlighted  the game developer’s exciting partnerships for 2018. The booth also included space for attendees to try on models from Alienware’s headset line, a shoutcaster desk and a wall to promote Alienware’s Team Liquid.

Enjin Coin. Founded in 2009, Enjin is a technology company with many products, including Enjin Coin, a customizable cryptocurrency and virtual goods platform for the gaming community. For E3, The Trade Group created an open booth space, with comfy Smart Chair seating, branded graphics and custom printed flooring.

Fun, interactive, jaw dropping activations and more

Along with facilitating client exhibiting needs, The Trade Group also produced two fun and unique activations at E3. These include:

Volkswagen and Subnation. This activation focused on the culture of gaming and the environment gamers live in, including their everyday lives outside of gaming. The space included a VW car, stage area with backdrop for interviews, gaming kiosks and a storage room. Items relevant to gamers were used to decorate the space, such as Converse shoes and surfboards.

Ubisoft. This top secret activation was one of the coolest projects The Trade Group has ever worked on. The space, which promoted Ubisoft’s “The Division” game, featured giant robots carving statues and LIVE engraving names of beta registrants during the show. The activation was truly a sight to behold and dominated impressions of people walking into the venue. Legendary sculpture artist Steve Wang collaborated with The Trade Group on the project.

In addition to exhibit work and activations, The Trade Group also facilitated two smaller projects at E3. Game developer FunCom tasked TTG with constructing a meeting room to host the press and hold scheduled meetings and demos of a yet-to-be released game.

The team also provided support for an offsite event — the Bethesda Fan Party. The client needed several gaming stations installed for the event, which were sourced from The Trade Group’s METALLI® line of modular structures.
