The key display catagories at the 23rd edition of the trade show included  different sectors of the industry viz. panel products and veneer manufacturing; living room, kitchen and office furniture; and fabrics, upholstery materials and supplies.

AG0_5457This is the first time the show has been organised by Deutschemesse AG, the same organisers as LIGNA, the world’s largest woodworking trade show.

Talking about the response from the exhibitors following the acquisition Christian Pfeiffer, Global Director LIGNA & Woodworking Events, Deutsche Messe commented, ” The response has been very positive. Deutsche Messe is known as a reliable and competent trade show organizer. Companies like Felder, SCM and Biesse are exhibiting for many years. He further added, “Deutsche Messe is promoting Magna ExpoMueblera as part of their international “woodworking /woodprocessing” network worldwide. Target groups are aware of our network and are exhibiting and visiting the show. The Mexican woodworking industry benefits from the new international orientation of the show, from the competition and the input from other exhibitors.”

First time exhibitors like Altendorf also sounded very impressed on the show. Joerg F Mayer, Managing Director, Altendorf remarked, “Well actually it is the first time for Altendorf to be at this show to participate. And so far, we can say that it’s a very nice set-up. It’s a small show but all the major players are here. We feel it’s professionally organized, so far, we got a good impression. ”

AG0_5472As a new addition of the show, is a special CNC display and Supporting Conference Program. The participants at the display include world-leading providers of woodworking machinery for trade, workshop and industrial use.
