One of the prominent luxury carmakers, Lexus, has launched the new LC500h sports coupe in India. The carmaker has retailed the LC500h coupe at a price tag of Rs. 2.39 crores Ex-showroom. Moreover, the updated LC500h gets a new infotainment system and a spike in prices of 10 Lakhs.

Updates in the new Lexus LC500h

Lexus has updated the LC500h with a new infotainment system. The carmaker is offering an all-new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system replacing the older 10.3-inch unit. However, the new infotainment panel is more driver-centric as compared to the previous dash-integrated infotainment system. 

Apart from this, the carmaker has tweaked the dashboard and exterior profile. The updated coupe misses out on an analogue clock compared to its previous model. Furthermore, the new LC500h sits on newly designed 21-inch alloy wheels.

About the Performance 

At the heart of the matter of the LC500h coupe is a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine. However, this engine is coupled to an electric motor and a self-charging Li-ion battery pack. This results in a combined output of 354bhp of power being sent to the rear wheels.

The claimed 0-100 kmph timing for the LC500h is 4.7 seconds. The Lexus LC50h has a clever hybrid CVT 4-speed automatic transmission. The transmission of LC500h can be operated manually and allows to selection from 10 different gear ratios.
