Hyundai India Launches New Digital Float Initiative

One of the leading players in the market, Hyundai India has launched a new Digital Float initiative. The activity of Digital float will be executed in the authorized rural outlets across India. The Digital float concept is aimed towards catering to the diverse needs of rural customers. Initially, the carmaker will transport the Grand i10 Nios hatchback to the doorstep of the customers.

About the Hyundai Digital Float initiative

Hyundai India has launched the Digital Float concept for catering to the requirements of rural customers. With this concept, the carmaker will cover the customers of rural and sub-urban belts across India. Moreover, the brand will provide a seamless experience of their cars to the customers.

Initially, the carmaker will launch the Digital Float concept in the rural regions of Punjab and Haryana. The customers can experience the Grand i10 Nios without visiting the physical showroom or booking a home visit. The carmaker aims to expand its reach and enhance customer experience with this concept.

The vision of Hyundai Digital Float

The carmaker boasts a wide network of 600 touchpoints in rural touchpoints across India. As per Hyundai, the Grand i10 Nios has contributed to 20% of rural sales volume in YTM’23. In the past few years, the Grand i10 Nios has significantly contributed to the overall sales of the company.

The Digital Float will provide a platform as Showroom on Wheels. This will enable the customers and prospects to connect with their local Hyundai dealership for enquiries related to any product. Moreover, customers from rural regions can book their desired variant of the car. It will enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen customer confidence in the brand at doorstep convenience.

Mr. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer (COO), of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “At Hyundai Motor India, we believe that in a dynamic market like India, phygital experiences are the need of the hour so as to reach the last mile and also ensure maximum penetration across geographies. With the ‘Digital-Float’ activations, we aim to showcase Hyundai products to existing and potential buyers and extend our footprint in the hinterland. The 36 Digital Floats will cover almost 582 rural locations across 27 states over the next two months. This initiative will help HMIL reach out to potential customers effectively at the tehsil and taluka levels. These digital floats will aid Hyundai Dealerships to provide a doorstep experience to our esteemed customers and generate enquiries for new as well as pre-owned cars. Scheduling test drives, booking their favourite Hyundai car and availing finance schemes is now simplified for our rural customers, thus fulfilling Hyundai’s vision of becoming a Lifetime Partner of our customers.”
