10k Units Delivered Since Launch
And now, Tata has achieved a major feat of delivering 10,000 units of the Tiago.ev in less than four months of its launch back in September 2022. With this feat, Tiago EV has disrupted the segment by reaching over 491 cities, covering 11.2 million km and saving 1.6 million grams of CO2 while at it.
Earlier, the Tiago EV had also become the fastest-booked EV in India, as it received 10,000 bookings within 24 hours and 20,000 bookings by the end of 2022.
About The Tata Tiago.ev
The electrified version of the Tiago hatchback debuted in September last year and its deliveries commenced in the month of February 2023. With prices starting from Rs. 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom) the Tiago.ev was the most affordable electric 4-wheeler in the country until the recent price announcement of MG’s smallest electric vehicle, the Comet EV.
Currently, Tata’s electric hatchback is available with an option of two battery packs, a smaller 19.2 kWh unit offering a claimed driving range of 250km on a single charge, & a bigger 24kWh pack with a claimed range of 315km. It also comes with an option of either a standard 3.3kW AC charger or a 7.2kW home fast charger.
The Tiago EV is available in four variants: XE, XT (with the smaller & larger battery pack option), XZ+, and XZ+ Tech Lux.
