Kia has launched the new limited edition of the compact SUV, the Sonet. The brand has priced the new Aurochs edition of the Sonet at Rs. 11.85 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The Aurochs edition features the majority of cosmetic revisions on the exterior based on the HTX variant.

What’s new in Aurochs Edition?

The Aurochs Edition of Sonet is available in 4 colours: Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl. Meanwhile, the major highlights of this variant are the Tangerine accents on the grille, skid plates and centre wheel caps.

Moreover, this variant boasts a blacked-out tiger-nose grille with an Aurochs emblem, blacked-out alloys, LED headlights and taillights. Overall, the highlights of this edition accentuate the beauty and wild character of this SUV which makes it appealing to buyers.

Powertrain Options

Based on the HTX variant, the Kia Sonet Aurochs edition is available with 2 engine options. The 1.0L 3-cylinder T-GDi turbo petrol engine makes 118bhp of power and 172nm of torque output. But the 1.5L 4-cylinder CRDi VGT diesel engine produces 114bhp of power and 250nm of torque output.

Both these engines are coupled to a 6-Speed iMT Transmission. However, the T-GDi gets an option of 7-Speed DCT Transmission and the diesel has a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission.
