Piaggio has launched the all-new Ape Xtra LDX variant in its range of commercial vehicles. This Cargo 3-Wheeler is now available in CNG and boasts a long 5.5ft deck enhancing its utility for transportation purposes.

Updates in Piaggio Ape Xtra DLX

The new Piaggio Ape Xtra Dlx gets a 5.5ft long loading bay which enhances the utility of the vehicle. The cabin of the new DLX boasts more headroom for the driver. Furthermore, the maker has tweaked this cargo 3-wheeler for increased gradeability by 26% for easy hill climbing. The DLX sits on tubeless tyres enhancing fuel efficiency and minimizing stress.

Mechanical Tweaks

Piaggio has made certain tweaks to its powerplant to comply with the latest BS6 phase-2 emission norms. The Ape Xtra DLX has a 230cc naturally aspirated air-cooled 3-valve engine in the heart of the matter. This engine churns out 17.1nm of torque making it capable to carry heavier loads. The top speed of this vehicle is restricted to 56km/h and it delivers 40km/kg of mileage on CNG.

Pricing and Warranty

The Piaggio has priced its Ape Xtra DLX at ₹2,51,586 Ex-showroom. And it comes with 36 months or 1,00,000 km of warranty. Piaggio ensures that this 3-wheeler delivers maximum output at lower maintenance costs ensuring the utmost peace of mind for its customers.
