Queen Elizabeth II, a notable and selfless monarch

Becoming Queen at the age of 25, Queen Elizabeth II dedicated her life to the nation, as she promised “My whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong”. For her whole life, Queen Elizabeth II has played her role as the steady and calm monarch and leader of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and a “Defender of the Faith” in the religious world as well. She has stood with the country through glories and difficulties and witnessed the change of eras, modernizing the monarchy and bring stability to the country and to the modern world.

Among all her significant contributions, Queen Elizabeth II had always been an activist for the charity work. She (along with the Royal Family) was one of the greatest supporters of the charities in the world and had practiced in donations and fundraising events. Acted as a royal patron and sharing her patronage to members of the Royal Family, the Queen had helped focus public’s attention on causes supporting poverty elimination and education promotion and raised the public’s awareness of the charity events. Her tireless involvement had been credited and should always be thanked.

Paying Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

During the past week, the world has gathered to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who had reigned for 70 years, the end of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world have come to London to view Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s Lying-in-State, bidding their final farewells to the Queen, expressing their gratitude for her over-70-year-of service, and sending their deepest condolences to the Royal Family. On September 17, Prof. Xiong, director of Maxity, was honoured to be invited by House of Lord to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall with Prince William and the Royal Family.

As the City mourns and reflects, community organisations, charities, councils and places of worship have all started to arrange events to commemorate Her Majesty, and Maxity wishes to do the same. An NFT collection commemorating the death of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth has been released by Charity Dao in conjunction with all our NGOs to pay tribute to the Queen.

As the Queen passed away aged 96, the participated NGOs will be limited to a total number of 96 worldwide, with only 960 NFTs being minted at the price of 9.6 Matic each. All the NFT items are artworks vividly portraying her Majesty the Queen and each is in an outfit of a different colour, just as how she always presented herself in front of the public, a fashion icon of Britain.

All funds and royalties collected by the selling of the NFTs will be donated to charitable organisations in the name of the beloved Queen Elizabeth II. Through the collection, we send our deepest condolences and pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, thanking her Majesty for her contribution to the country and to the world.
