BMAX has launched its first ultralight tablet – Bmax Maxpad I10 Pro recently. The tablet comes with an 10.1-inch display with with 2000 x 1200 pixels. Powered by a UNISOC Tiger T310 64-bit Octa-Core SoC, the device comes with two speakers, 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.

As far as the CPU is concerned, the UNISOC Tiger T310 adopts the DynamlQ architecture. Since smart phones have very high requirements for power consumption, and performance is proportional to power consumption, this leads to the inability to have both. In order to solve this problem, there is a large and small core design, that is, “3 small cores” + “1 large core”. Many mobile devices usually run with small cores when they are under low load. When running large games or other high-load scenarios, such mobile devices will run with large cores. The DynamlQ architecture is an upgraded version of the large and small core architecture. In terms of performance and power balance, this architecture is better than the traditional large and small core architecture and saves more power.
In addition, DynamlQ integrates AI neural network technology. Compared with the previous generation of Cortex A53, pipelined improvements and new machine learning instructions have been made to greatly improve its machine learning performance in matrix multiplication, for example, the computing power of AI 8bit dot-product is 6 times higher than that of Cortex A53. Both Cortex A75 and Cortex A55 are built using DynamlQ technology.
The UNISOC Tiger T310 CPU consists of three Cortex A55 core and one Cortex A75 core. Although the design of 3 small cores + 1 large core is not as good as 4 small cores + 4 large cores, it is a very practical design. Cortex A55 is sufficient for daily use, and Cortex A75 is sufficient for high load scenarios. It can achieve a balance between performance and power consumption.
As far as GPU is concerned, UNISOC is also very sincere, this chip uses Imagination PowerVR 8 series, because PowerVR has an advantage over Mali in performance and power consumption ratio, which makes the GPU of UNISOC Tiger T310 also have lower power consumption in the case of good performance.
In terms of baseband, the UNISOC Tiger T310 supports GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, LET-TDD and LTE-FDD.
