I Am Bread - Android App Review

Tags: bread

Ok so apparently Im the weirdo who didnt know about the marvelous misadventures of I Am Bread!

The Whole Weat object of the game is to become Toast. You play as a lone piece of bread, in 8 ridiculous levels of torment, trying to become toast.
You have a multitude of obstacles to over come, and a 'life' counter level where you go from being 100% edible to 0%

You may never touch the floor, land in the trash, or anything else that would otherwise damage, pollute, or make bread inedible. Sounds easy right? WRONG!!! If you have the slightest bit of gamer rage, stay away from this game, unless you are playing on a phone that you can throw for distance. Your patients will be tired again and again and again. I couldnt get passed level 1. You can climb up walls, and everything else and I still wasnt able to get much past the table.

I like the game so far but I am really impatient when it comes to games. I will give this a 3 out of 5 stars just for the general controls on mobile phones. I dont know how it plays on other systems but its a pain in the ass to control it on a mobile.

Here is what the developers have to say:

"You are bread! Your mission, become toast! Take on all hazards to deliciousness as you head on an adventure across 8 levels taking bread from its natural confine in the kitchen, throughout the house and then venture outside into the garden and beyond. Look out for the floor and any other unsavoury obstacles that could harm your tastiness as you seek out the means to achieve bread's ultimate goal.

Using the unique control system, designed from the ground up for mobile, you can bring the slice to life and take it on an incredible adventure. With you in control, this bread will be boldly going where no bread has gone before!"

Here is some gameplay by MobileiGames mind you this game is available on multiple platforms such as iPhone, PC, Android, Steam, and PS4 so the controls are all going to be different.
