Jae and Alyssa met through a mutual friend at a work event. They connected over tennis. After a few “tennis dates” they started going on real dates and the rest is history. Check out their elegant wedding at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel.
The couple wanted a Downtown wedding and reception location so that guests could go straight to their rooms once the ceremony and reception party were over. Their vision for the wedding tied into the practicality of having a downtown wedding as well with a theme of "Downtown Classic". This vision was achieved in the decor of white flowers with a hint of pink.
The 155 guests enjoyed several activities in the surrounding downtown area where they got to explore and experience Downtown Columbus before the wedding festivities began.
This stunning wedding wasn’t without a few hitches here and there, but in the end was the perfect day for a loving bride and groom. Amidst the stunning location of the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel and the gorgeous church where the wedding ceremony was held, there were a few funny moments along the way - from the bridal party and photographer getting lost on the way to the first look to an unexpected fire alarm.
However, the bride and groom would let nothing get in the way of their having the best day ever. One of the bride’s favorite memories of the day included the first look with her groom. Furthermore, she loved the feel of the wedding locale and how all of the events of the day were in walking distance of each other, which wouldn’t have been the same without the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel.
