Where to Drink, Dine & Have a Good Time on your Birmingham Hen Do

Where To: Drink

The Island Bar in Birmingham has a reputation as Birmingham’s Cocktail Specialist’s and claim to have the most comprehensive spirit and liqueur collection in the West Midlands. The split-level bar has a Tiki Bar theme and offers Caribbean style tropical drinks and serve many of their own creations – which we must say are fabulous! If you’re a Champagne connoisseur then you need to head down to Brindley Place and visit the Marco Pierre White Champagne Bar. Marco Pierre offer an extraordinary range of Vintage & Non-vintage champagnes, Rose Champagnes and Prestige Cuvee. If champagne isn’t your thing then don’t worry – their range of Prosecco, Dry Wines, Fruity Wines and all other wines are just as good! If Real Ale is more of your thing then you need to head down to “The Spotted Dog” on Warwick Street. This slightly bonkers Irish Pub serves a range of real ales and has an impressive beer garden where the people of Digbeth gather when the sun comes out. The Spotted Dog is located not far from the O2 Institute Birmingham and works brilliant as a pre-show watering hole!

Where To: Dine

Birmingham is known as one of the most diverse cities in the UK and the food most definitely reflects this. If you love a hot curry then head to Lasan, the food is sophisticated and uses subtle and sometimes unusual combinations of spices and ingredients. Lasan promises its exquisite cuisine will tease your senses and deliver a true essence of India in all its glory. If you’re a pasta and pizza addict then Pasta Di Piazza is the place to be! As an authentic Italian Restaurant, Pasta Di Piazza offer an incredible range of Platters, Seafood Specials and of course serve traditions Italian dishes such as Antipasti, Pasta & Pizzas. For an authentic range of Chinese dishes you need to book a table at Chung Ying Garden. Just a stones throw away from the Hippodrome Theatre it’s in the perfect location for a pre-show bite to eat and has fabulous reviews on Trip Advisor for the food, service & atmosphere.
