There are loads of things to do whilst in Blackpool on your hen weekend, some obvious, some not so obvious. If you’re anything like me, if I miss out on something I’ve planned to do when I go to another city, I’ll be kicking myself for weeks.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Ride The Pepsi Max Big One
If you’re a thrill seeker this one’s for you. The Pepsi Max Big One is the tallest ride in the UK and its highest point is 65 metres. The rides first drop is 62 metres at a 65 degree angle. The usual average speed for the ride is 74 miles per hour. You can’t go all the way to Blackpool and not go on the Pepsi Max!
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Visit Pasaje del Terror
Personally, I would never do this because I get scared really easily but if horror is your sort of thing you’ll love it. On tour you will get taken through around 20 scenes from horror movies such as the exorcist. There are actors lurking in the darkness. At the end of the tour you end up running and screaming into a pub full of people.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Walk along Blackpool’s Piers
When on your hen party in Blackpool you have to check out Blackpool’s central pier. You can take some great photos on there with the sea behind you and the wind blowing in your hair. Not only that but there’s bars, rides and stalls for you to have a wonder around.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Take pictures at Madame Tussauds
If you’re a gossip girl with your head constantly stuck in OK magazine you’ll love Madame Tussauds. You and your group can get together and take pictures with the rich and famous. What better pictures could you ask for to put in a hen party photo album.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Go to the top of Blackpool Tower
At the Blackpool towers there are loads of attractions. You can go to the Blackpool Tower ballroom, circus, dungeons as well as going to The Blackpool Tower Eye 4D Experience. Whether you go to all of these attractions or just one, visiting the Blackpool Tower on your hen weekend is a must.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Eat Fish & Chips
The seaside has the best fish and chips. It would be a crime to visit the coast and not go to the chip shop and sit on the beach whilst eating them.
Whilst on my Hen Party Blackpool I must… Travel on the Blackpool Tramway
Blackpool’s tramway is one of the oldest electric tramways in the world dating back to 1885. It is tradition to take a trip on the tram when in Blackpool. Take a trip along the sea front whilst you and the rest of your party are looking out for clubs and bars to visit that night.
