As I may have mentioned before, I’m currently in the final stages of organising my own Wedding and with only 5 weeks to go, last night I stumbled across this new wedding phenomenon which I only wish I had come across earlier! So I thought I would share it with you in the hope that it’s not too late for you! Marryoke! What is this I hear you cry?! Remember those Saturday nights, sat in your local pub listening to some old man sing ‘Pretty Woman’ on the Karaoke and swearing there is no way anyone will get you up there? Fast forward to several bevvies later and the karaoke master is peeling the microphone out of your hand whilst you happily wail ‘I will survive’ thinking you could be the next Gloria Gaynor if only Simon Cowell would walk through the doors and discover you! Now combine your favourite song, with your wedding guests on your wedding day and you have Marryoke! Several wedding videographers are offering this service now and the results can be amazing if everyone really gets into the spirit of it! Here’s an example of one of my fave’s. |
It’s a great way to capture all of your wedding guests on camera in a fun way that you will want to watch over and over again! You can guarantee that this DVD will not sit on a shelf collecting dust! If you think a marryoke video shoot will be a bit too much on your wedding day or even if you want to use the video as part of the speeches why not book a videographer to join you during your hen party activities and record your marryoke video then? I think the key to creating a good Marryoke video much like the key to selecting the right hen party activity is to choose something that everyone will feel comfortable performing but has enough excitement to make it really memorable.
