You can hop aboard and experience the sights, the sounds and the smells of the ship preparing to set sale. Take a stroll along the deck to take in the views before heading below to the first class luxury cabins and the huge turning engine! Test Your Fear on Heights at the Clifton Suspension Bridge
Ranked number 2 on trip advisors activities, the Clifton Suspension bridge is an iconic landmark in Bristol. Spanning 75 meters above water level, it offers incredible views of the ancient Avon Gorge and attracts thousands of tourists every year. Completed in 1864, it is hard to believe that this bridge was built with the intention of carrying horse drawn carriages and foot traffic, when now it carries around 12,000 cars every day. You can walk across the bridge for free, but if you’re looking for a flying visit then you can drive over it for 50p.
Shop Till You Drop at Bristol’s Shopping Quarter
Bristol’s Shopping Quarter is located at the heart of the city centre, and is made up of four areas so there’s something for everyone! Broadmead offers a relaxing shopping experience outside on pedestrianised streets. At the heart of Broadmead you will find the Galleries, which is a three storey shopping centre with just over 100 stores. You and the girls can then rest your feet and enjoy a bite to eat at Quakers Friars where there plenty of restaurants and cafes, the hardest part will be choosing where to go. Once rested you can head into Cabot’s Circus! This amazing indoor/outdoor, modern shopping centre has over 120 shops including 15 flagship stores such as Harvey Nichols and House of Fraser. Relax with the girls at Lido, Bristol’s public hot tub that dates back to 1849. Whatever the weather, you won’t regret bringing your bikini once you have dipped your toes in the heated pool where the water is 24˚C. Sweat it out in the sauna or relax in the hot tub, they have the facilities to suit all tastes. Why not treat yourself to one of their available spa treatments for that extra cherry on the top.
