Being fabulous in NYC seems like the norm, but this City Glam Wedding Inspiration makes it seem like a must! Taking the hip, urban accents of the city and mixing it with soft tones became perfection. Elvira Kalviste Photography captured the gorgeous decor of florals juxtaposing the glittery menus and glamtastic candles. Yes, ladies, the décor and beautiful watercolor-infused invitations were amazing. Now, let’s swoon over the dresses! The bridal gown was simply elegant, perfectly timeless, the stunning mismatched Durga-Kali bridesmaids dresses, however, were showstoppers! Their whimsical, yet classy look tied in flawlessly to the entire inspiration. Check out the FULL GALLERY to see them go from bridal party to cocktail party!
Inspiration behind the shoot:
“With the hard and urban feel of the city backdrop at City View Events, we wanted to soften the edges and still keep the glitz and glam of a city wedding. We chose to incorporate a watercolor element through the invitations, flowers, and dresses to add the softness. The dresses mimicked the flowers and the ombre napkins created unison for the photo shoot. The chandeliers, candles, and classic table settings with the printed gem menu cards helped add an elegance and glamour to an urban landscape. We really enjoyed being able to juxtapose the hard and soft elements for this modern but feminine inspiration shoot. The venue also provided a perfect backdrop to showcase how Durga-Kali dresses could easily transition from wedding day to girls night out.”
