3 Essential Yoga Poses Will Keep You Stay Healthy

India is the country where Yoga came into existence for years, but we might have still believed to follow exercise and diet routines. Yoga postures that you might have viewed so far might be little difficult, but results are best which will keep you healthy and stable for a lifetime period. Let’s Pay Salutation To The Sun

Surya Namaskar = Salutation To Sun

Firstly, let’s start with the Surya Namaskar pose that is a salutation to the sun which will help your body stretch from head to toe. It is as similar to warm up you do before any dance or exercise workout.

  • All you have to do is stand straight with legs joined together and also joining both the hands just like a praying position. Hold it for 3-5 seconds and take a deep breath as you inhale and exhale.
  • Secondly stretch towards your backward side with your hands up that slowly goes back. Keep stretching towards your back, hold it for 3-5 seconds and you will feel a little pain which means you doing right.
  • Now bend your upper portion body downwards with both hands touching the floor that is just beside your legs. Make sure that you keep your legs join straight and try not to bend your knees while you will feel the pain on the nerves of your legs that stretches. Again, you need to hold it for 3-5 seconds.
  • Take your right leg behind while you slowly come little downwards and let the leg lie behind and keep your back spinal cord straight with 3-5 seconds count.
  • Take the next left leg back to the plank position while your hands will be underneath your shoulder. This might be little difficult but I am sure you can maintain that position for 3-5 seconds.
  • Slowly bring your knees, chest and forehand on the floor while your shoulder will be off the floor. As you inhale and exhale for 3-5 second counts.
  • Next you will be letting your thighs and legs that is the entire lower body portion rest on the floor. While you will stretch your upper body portion slide upwards with heads up and hands on the floor to get the support. Do it with 3-5 seconds count.
  • Tuck your toes on the floor with your hips raised up. Try not to bend your knees, a little bend is fine.
  • Now take your right leg forward near your shoulders just as shown in the image. You can feel the stretch when you point out your left leg toe.
  • Now slowly drag your upper body portion upside and slightly and slowly again turn backward with your hands stretch backward just as you have done earlier.

Act Like A Child While You Do

Once you are done with the above Surya Namaskar then your body is perfectly ready for the other yoga pose. So, the next is the Child Pose (Balasasna) which easy and relaxing. You can perform this 3 to 5 times which are fun and interesting.

  • Just kneel down on your knees first and sit on your legs joined. Just as Muslims sit for their namaz.
  • Now you will join your hands together in a prayer position and slide it straight upwards with your heads up. Just inhale and exhale
  • Now bring your chest on your thighs near your knees while forehead and hands on the floor. You will feel the pain of the stretch in your body.
  • Now slightly take your buttocks up and then again down. Perform this slowly as you will get time to breathe and feel relaxed.
  • Now slowly keep your arms on the floor beside your legs. Again inhale and exhale and feel relaxed.

Another pose that you are going to perform is simple and easy for anyone. All you have to let your muscles cry out loud because that is how you will find a difference and change in you. We use our brain to understand and make it run faster, so as you need to use your body to perform activity like yoga to make your organic system work stronger and be safe from all the sickness and diseases around us. So Let’s jump to our next yoga pose called Cat OR Cow Pose (Bidalasana).

  • All you have to do is just get down into a table position OR I can say act like 4 leg animal.
  • Now as you lie down on your knees will be beneath your thighs and wrist beneath your shoulders.
  • Now your upper portion body can be easily bent like an arc. Just let your upper body go inwards below and upwards above.
  • Perform this pose 3-5 times slowly step by step to get it done easily in a relaxing way.

Try the above yoga pose every day as it has a long-term benefits and effects. Make sure that you do it daily every morning.
