There;s an endless story

A story that experts believe have over 80% of women wearing a wrong brassiere (or bra).

With utmost concern, a bride chooses every bit of her wedding trousseau, as she dreams of looking and feeling her best and finest on her wedding day. And when it comes to lingerie, usually the focus is on it being frilly or lacy or sexy. When not for weddings, the focus is usually on colors (or something else), maybe that is the reason why experts say over 80% of women wear wrong bras. And the crime scene points towards too large Band size and / or too small cup size.

While we definitely want you to get hold of all those sizzling, frilly numbers; we recommend you save that for your wedding night or honeymoon. As for your wedding day, make sure you buy lingerie that supports you, smoothes you, comforts you and needless to mention, flatters you! But if you are not sure your current choices do all the above to you, these are a few telltales that you can determine if you fall into 80% category:

If your bra band goes high up at back

The Bra Band under your bust does all the primary supporting work. Secondary support is by shoulder straps. If the bra band is too large, your shoulder straps will either slip down or keep popping out. While selecting a bra for you, make sure that the band fits snug and low on your back. If it goes high up, it means that either the bra is too large or stretched out!

If you have side boobs, armpit boob, boob spillage, quadraboob or uniboob

There’s no doubt a heaving Breast looks fabulous only on high-end lingerie catalogues (or inside closed doors)! As soon as a top or shirt needs to be put on, the entire sex factor bombs! Well, incidentally, we all have to cover up in public, so it’s imperative to get a cup size that fits perfectly! If you have fuller breast and you are wearing a smaller cup size, chances are that you’re breasts will be squished together making it look like one large wide boob (uniboob) or your breast tissue will spill out making it look as if there are smaller boobs growing out of other ones (quadraboob). If you are a prey of any of these, go a cup size higher.

If your cups are wrinkling or have space between them

This indicates that you need to go down one size. If you have smaller breast, go for a demi bra push-ups are a super sexy option! While your breasts shouldn’t spill over the cups, they shouldn’t leave much room within the cups, either. The edges should lie flat against your skin; if they don’t, it means you need a smaller size.

If you have two cleavages, one in front and one at back!

Most women think that the back cleavage is caused by bra bands that are too small. But the truth is the bands that are too big are to be blamed. When the bands are too big, they don’t stay at the right place (which is in line with the front band or lower); making the band ride up giving rise to a back cleavage. Trust us, stick to only one the one at front!

If your straps digs and pinches your skin or fall off shoulders.

Straps usually do secondary support work, which is like 10%. The band is responsible for 90% of a bra’s support. So, if you are keep straps super tight to lift your breasts up, it means your bra band is too large to support you. Straps also become loose and fall off the shoulders for same reason, though it may also mean that the strap needs adjustment as your height. Such bras can bring about a host of problems from neck, shoulder, and back pain to skin irritation. Under no circumstances, should the bra band or strap pinch you, well, unless the pinching is done by your beau!

If you deal with a nip show

This is considered as one of the biggest faux-pas in women fashion. It can be embarrassing and centralized air conditioning or winters make them very embarrassing. Many lingerie companies vow for Molded, Lined and Seamed bras, but what really works here is the Contour bra. A thin layer of padding or foam can prevent the nip show. However, if you are already well endowed and don’t wish to add extra volume (and attention), go for a Nip Concealer bra.

If you worry people call you Hanging Garden

Or Shaking while you walk. Your weight need not be blamed for this, your choice of bra should be. Check the bra band. Here’s a tip, while trying on a new bra, put two fingers underneath your band in the back. If you feel like you can fit more, or if you can stretch the band more than a few inches from your back, try a smaller size. If you can’t fit any fingers back there, you might be wearing a size too small. If you raise your arms in the air, your bra shouldn’t move on or away from the body.

If your boobs look like traffic-cone-esque or ready-to-launch-rockety:

No matter how much vintage means to you, unless you are dressed for a theme party, leave the conical or bullet bra for grandmothers! They particularly look unpleasant underneath a t-shirt or shirt. You may still go ahead, however, if you wish to let loose the hidden Madonna inside you!

Just incase you fall into the 80% category, plan right now to move into 20%. Remember, bras should work for women¢â‚¬¦not the other way round! A few more handy tips while going bra shopping:

– While buying a new bra, always try with hook on the loosest you’ll still have two hooks to go back to while the bra wears and tears.

– To The gore or the center panel of an under wired bra should lie flat against your sternum.

– Seamless and nude color bras are fashionista’s lingerie must-haves. Just like strapless and adhesive bras.

– Once a year, get your size evaluated by a pro if your weight has changed.

So, are you ready to move into the 20% category? If you already are, share it with beautiful women around you.

A right bra can make your waist slimmer and silhouette silky. It can lift your breasts as well as confidence. There’s a threshold to how high your breasts should go – midpoint between your shoulder and elbows. However, there’s none to your confidence. It can fly as high as you want!

Because that is one of things you deserve for being such a good girl.
