One of the main reasons why we had such an amazing time in the beautiful country of Costa Rica was because of the travel agency Costa Rican Treasures. Since there is so much to experience in Costa Rica, we wanted to make sure that we maximized our time. Sonia Rojas, the owner and founder of Costa Rican Treasures, was truly incredible to work with.

We love supporting local businesses and Sonia is a Costa Rican native with more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry. She made it incredibly easy to plan our dream vacation. We just told Sonia the things that we like to experience, and she made it happen. Unlike major travel agency brands, it is great getting recommendations from a local professional who knows and has personally experienced the things that she is booking.

If anything changes with your plans or goes wrong during your trip, it is so helpful to know that there is someone in the country who can speak the language and is there to help! Sonja, the owner of the company, leaves her phone on 24/7 and is always there to be help! We unfortunately learned this the hard way when I broke the rental car key in the car door. It was night time, we were 3.5 hours away from the rental car company, and had plans to be driving first thing in the morning. We contacted Sonja and she arranged for the car rental company to send a locksmith to come fish the key out of the car door and make a copy for us on the spot! Within 15 minutes, we had a new key and were on our way!! We didn’t have to miss any of our vacation or rearrange our plans! I can’t imagine what we would have done without Costa Rican Treasures help!
