Real Wedding At The Castle of Solfagnano
The Castle of Solfagnano, located in the Land of San Valentino, patron saint of lovers from all over the world, is a unique place flanked by a suggestive heart-shaped valley: if you want to transform your dream of love into reality and in perfect Italian style, this is the right place.
The Solfagnano Castle is part of the circuit of Umbrian locations where it is possible to celebrate ceremonies and civil unions, authorized and recognized by the Municipality of Perugia; the official seat is the evocative Sala delle Guardie.
You will have the opportunity to organize a special wedding where you can choose the interior or exterior spaces of the Castle that best suit your needs to create personalized scenarios and live a unique experience. The structure is granted exclusively and the possibility for suppliers to install the day before the event and dismantle the next day is also guaranteed.
The Castle has dream terraces and three large squares, places of life and meeting. Events include a minimum of 15 seated guests up to a maximum of 360.
The historic Piazza 1563 (270 square meters, seating 150 people) located at the entrance of the structure, overlooks the vineyard and is the ideal space for a welcome drink. The Piazza dell’Orologio (800sqm, 450 people seated), in front of the entrance to the Villa, enjoys a dominant position which is accessed via an imposing staircase and offers a privileged view of the Italian Garden and the Umbrian countryside; it is protected by watchtowers from which you can admire exciting sunsets.
The Garden of the Fountain (750 square meters, seating 400 people) is a hanging garden whose geometric perimeter houses the eighteenth-century fountain in the center. It is in direct connection with the industrial kitchen.
The Piazza delle Torri (310 square meters, seating 200 people) equipped with tables and chairs, is a large area protected by medieval towers, which overlooks the estate’s northern valley.
The Cathedral of Love, a charming tree-lined avenue surrounded by rings of centuries-old holm oaks, is the ideal place for cutting the cake.
During the winter season or in case of bad weather, an alternative plan is guaranteed at no additional cost: the availability of the internal halls means that there is no need to resort to the installation of tensile structures. It is possible to use the Salone delle Volte (600sqm), one of the few in Umbria that can seat up to 360 people; a large and welcoming hall consisting of three communicating aisles, equipped with all the necessary comforts including air conditioning and a radiant system as well as an elegant and functional bar counter.
It is embellished with the paintings of the well-known Italian contemporary artist Lorenzo Fonda but at the same time it is possible to furnish it with installations and personalized floral decorations. Il Granaio (250sqm) is another characteristic, spacious, versatile and bright arched hall that can accommodate up to 220 seated guests.
The Castle also allows the provision of catering service to external suppliers by providing the equipment and machinery of its professional industrial kitchen, certified at an administrative and health level.
Friendly routes for people with disabilities and an elevator that connects the various levels of the building, make every space both internal and external easily accessible.
The structure guarantees, through its staff, the cleaning and sanitation of services for the duration of the event, the parking service and the installation of luminous torches along the entire perimeter of the castle walls.
