EPFO now will Inform Subscribers if Contributions are not Deposited by their Employers

EPFO on Wednesday said they will now inform its Subscribers if contributions are not deposited by their employer with the body for a given month in due time. 

At present scenario, Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) just informs about the credit of cotribution to subscribers account by SMS/email to enlisted all inclusive (EPF) account number holders. 

"The individuals whose contributions are not deposited in time stay ignorant. In order to   bring more transperency, it has been decided that an intimation by method of SMS/email might be sent to individuals (who have enrolled their Mobile Number/email ID against separate Universal Account Number) in regard of whom contribution has not been deposited by the business with EPFO for a given month in due time," an EPFO official said. 
As per the announcement, the EPFO has so far been suggesting its individuals by method for SMS using a loan of their separate month to month contribution in their accounts. 

Presently, it said that the credit informationm is accessible through e-passbook on the web and UMANG mobile App and in addition through missed call benefit for all individuals. 
The EPFO members whose month to month contribution is regularly recieved may view their contribution details using any of these choices. Other than the body has additionally chosen to distribute the age-band wise estimate of every new subscribers as announced by their employers less (deducting the number of) subscribers leaving jobs every month. This data can be accessed on line.
