Historical Battlefield Engagement at Golden Hour

We adore this historical battlefield Engagement shoot! So, we had to share it with you.

Jackie and Sam are the perfect match. They were high school sweethearts, and their love has only blossomed and grown as the years have gone by.

Their rustic portraits at the Manassas National Battlefield Park were nothing short of dreamy.

We’ve always found that the countryside provides the perfect backdrop for an engagement shoot, and this location certainly didn’t fail!

This is because the fields remind us of a simpler time, an era where you could enjoy the simplicity of love and laughter, without the hustle and bustle of everyday distraction getting in the way.

From the golden light to the autumnal leaves on the trees, everything about these photos is utterly divine.

Their cute greyhound Zeke, really puts the cherry on top of the cake. Obviously, his wiggy waggy tail and floppy ears round off this shoot perfectly!

I’ve always thought that animals add a sense of coziness and love to any engagement shoot. Evidently, this is demonstrated perfectly throughout these photographs.

The weather looks beautiful, almost as if the sun wanted to come out to say ‘congratulations to the happy couple.’

We wish Jackie and Sam all the happiness in the world and can’t get enough of these historical battlefield engagement pics. Enjoy!

Are you considering having an engagement shoot for you and your fiance?
