from the photographer… “This entire Shoot was planned around our stunning venue. The gorgeous, whitewashed barn with an entirely raw, rustic interior was so stunning, and I knew that the whole shoot needed to revolve around the rustic yet elegant feel of the venue. Our color scheme consisted of simple white with gorgeous greenery and rose gold accents. The metallic details really helped elevate the rustic shoot to a classy level. The couple who modeled for us was recently married and did not have a wedding photographer at their intimate ceremony, so they were giddy with excitement to have professional bridal portraits taken. Their love and sweet affection towards each other really brought a spark to the shoot, and they kept gushing all day about how special they felt. It was like ‘getting married all over again’!”

“One of my favorite elements from the shoot was that the bride’s little girl attended the shoot and dressed up as their flower girl. It was so sweet to have her there, giggling and having fun. She said she felt like a princess. At the last minute, a rainstorm came in on the day of the shoot. Thankfully we had planned the entire shoot indoors. It was a great example of the surprise rain that sometimes shows up at weddings, and it really stretched my creativity to take the majority of the posed portraits indoors.”
