Charming Rustic Texas Wedding

from the bride… “There are three things that immediately spring to mind and they are sentimental for different reasons. The first being our sweetheart table. Back to my grand dreams! I asked Blake to make the table we would sit at during the Wedding, the table that we would share our first meal as husband and wife. Then after the wedding we could bring into our new home and every time we looked at it or shared a meal together it would remind the both of us of our wedding day. The second would be our vows! If you asked me 10 years ago, 5 years ago or even the year I met Blake if I would ever have written my own vows, bared my soul to the man I love in front of 150 people, then I would say you are nuts! I am so glad we did. Our promises were personal and filled with love. We both cried the whole time. From what I’ve heard there weren’t many dry eyes in the chapel. The last aspect was our tree planting ceremony. Blake and I decided that we wanted to plant a tree for every major aspect of our lives–buying a house, pets, marriage and children. We bought a magnolia tree and each poured a jar of dirt. My jar had dirt from my parent’s house and Blake’s from his (the exact spot where he proposed!). It was a coming together of two families and a way to watch our love grow.”
