from the photographer… “Before their wedding day I had only talked to Jana on the phone, until she texted me about my thoughts on a first look because Cody wanted one and she didn’t. So I decided to call her, and we talked and cried, and I loved getting to hear her story. She’s been through so much and is still the kindest and strongest woman. I can’t imagine trying to plan and celebrate your wedding day without your parents by your side but that’s what she was doing. So when we talked about the first look she mentioned that Cody was her rock, so I’m so thankful she decided to do a first look and got to have him by her side before the ceremony as well. Her bridesmaids were also instrumental in her day, they were so wonderful and took such great care of her. Her Matron of Honor, Ashley, was also her hair stylist, and she did a fantastic job but wow, I have no idea how she did it all!”

“One of her other secrets that no one knew about was that Cody was going to meet her half way, and walk her the rest of the way down the aisle. She had her family bring special momentos to pin on her bouquet, she had some of her parents rings, and a charm that said “I have an Angel watching over me” and then she brought her dad’s shirt so that a heart could be cut from it and added to her bouquet. She wasn’t walking alone, she had her dad and her mom, and her entire family walking with her on that bouquet. Back to their wedding day…Jayla Jordan of Blushington Blooms did a beautiful job creating the florals. I’m in love with those bouquets that perfectly tied into the red barn. The guys were more casual, in western shirts and jeans and boots. Jana even wore these super cute fringed boots as well! Plus, let’s have a moment to drool over her Maggie Sottero gown from Pence and Panache with it’s low cut back! I hope you enjoy their day as much as we did!”
