Hello lovelies. Here I am, once again at a crossroads. I try to keep my personal life out of this blog, but sometimes I feel the need to share my thoughts with you and today is one of those days. If you follow me on social media then you know I'm all about spreading the positive vibes and I try to keep you motivated and inspired as much as I can, but I'm feeling the summer slump...
The past couple of years have made me think, rethink and think again about my choices, my goals and the direction I'm trying to head. There have been numerous obstacles, dead end paths, closed doors and many open windows. Every time I make a personal or business decision, I try to weigh my options and put on my thinking cap and my positive pants and charge full speed ahead, but I'm tired of having to make those tough decisions, in fact I'm completely exhausted and drained.
It's important for me to take a moment, gather myself and my goals and take a break. I need some new found energy and I need to make a drastic decision. I don't know what that is quite yet, but I have my mind on something and I will have to see if the stars align themselves properly first before I can see where I'm headed. ...The ole' waiting game.
It's time for a change though, and I'm afraid it might be a big one. This doesn't mean the change will be bad, because believe me, it is much welcomed and I will be beyond grateful when it arrives. It probably won't fall from the sky or be delivered from the legacy of Ed McMahon, (it if does though, how great would that be?!) because I do believe that you have to work hard to get what you want and if you knew how hard I've been working you might be surprised. I'm ready for greatness. I'm ready for the next step in my journey and I'm ready for it to be a fun one, a great one and an exciting one!
If you remember at the beginning of the year I talked about how joy was my word of the year and how I wouldn't stop until I find it. Well, I'm still searching. But that's ok, I'm on the right path and I think my career is taking a turn for the better. There just comes a time in your life when you need to shake things up a bit. As much as I want to blog full-time and spend my day taking pretty pictures and shopping online, I need to focus on the bigger picture right now.
So I'm just gonna bow out for a little bit, take a deep breath, get re-inspired and come back refreshed, just in time for fall (my favorite time of the year!) Thank you for your support and thanks for hanging in there with me through the good times and the stressful times, it means so much.
