I haven't done this in a while, so I might as well do it since the year is almost over. This is my list of outstanding mixtapes that I enjoyed that came out this year and I feel deserve some additional shine. I'm planning on doing another list before New Years because there are a few mixtapes that need to be on here. With that said, let's go. Like usual, if you click on the mixtape title it will take you to a link to get the mixtape.

 Dej Loaf - $ell Sole

This mixtape needs to be on here for the simple fact that I don't listen to female rappers. I'm not a hater, female rappers just don't do it for me. Until I heard this mixtape. The thing I like about this mixtape is that Dej Loaf sounds different and she talks that shit. You have to listen Track 2: Problem feat. GT & Oba Rowland. When said "I make him gargle this pussy" I was clowning. This whole mixtape was refreshing and you need to get it.

Boosie - Life After Deathrow

I was worried before I listened to this mixtape that Boosie would not lose his song making ability after being locked up. Well the mixtape is on the list so you know he didn't. People always say "my music is what the streets need" and they're lying. I will go on record and say this is exactly what the streets need. This mixtape was so real. My favorite track is "O Lord." People be glorying prison and that song told it how it really is. When he was talking about the boy caught a life sentence at 15 and had only fucked one girl before going to jail, that's the things that nobody talks about with street life. Get this mixtape.

Curren$y - The Drive In Theatre

I could put 2 other mixtapes from Spitta on here, but I don't want to seem biased since I'm from Louisiana. But you need to get Saturday Night Car Tunes and More Saturday Night Car Tunes. He got so much fire on this mixtape, I'm a big fan of Cookin Soul's production so of course Stove Top stands out. 10 G's was my shit on here too. Curren$y had some good features on here as well. He B-Real, Action Bronson, and the usual Jet Life artists. Make sure you get all three mixtapes. The links are there.

Kevin Gates - By Any Means
First off make sure you follow Kevin Gates on Instagram - @iamkevingates. The videos he post be funny as shit. He be having some real shit on there too. The song that I have on repeat from this mixtape is "Don't Know." This is a good mixtape that you should have in your collection. I'm just going to keep it short and to the point on this one.

Trae tha Truth - Flight School: All Star 2014

Anybody who has seen the previous "Best Mixtapes of" blogs know that I found out about Adele because he remixed her song "Hometown" on one of his old mixtapes. People just sleep on this guy. I like his format to mixtapes, he takes songs and pretty much remixes them. This whole mixtape is full of hits that he threw verses on. I fuck with it. Simple enough.

Tracy T - The Wolf of All Streets

I started listening to Tracy T music when I heard "War Ready" on Rick Ross' Mastermind album. I don't think people giving this guy a chance. I've asked so many people have they heard his mixtape and nobody I know listened to it. My favorite songs on here are Track 2: On Me (which is supposed to have Meek Mill but it's only Tracy T), Track 9: Champagne, and Track 16: 16. This mixtapes bangs in my opinion.

I'm going to stop here and will continue the mixtape list in the near future. Support the artists and bang their music dammit.
