May Day: Fate vs Will

Tags: fate love random

(Random fact 1) The Mall of Asia is one of my go-to “me-time” place for when I’d like to unwind or just have a fancy cup of coffee. Yesterday, on my way home, I noticed a couple having a cheesy conversation on how much they adore each other. “Buti nalang nakilala kita.” “I Love you.” And I was like “Duh. Pag-usapan nyo nalang yan pag-uwi nyo no di yung andyan kayo sa kalsada. Pwe.” #BitterOcampo

Of course, I didn’t say that out loud. (Random fact 2 bec I always do this.) It was just my mind having endless side comments on whatever cheesy I hear. (Random fact 3) On my previous blog (which I already deleted it hurts), I used to write more about love. Until I realized it’s kind of mainstream already that we all are actually writing the exact same thing we all want to share. Or not? It’s also (in contrast) nonsense to talk about because we all have different views in love. No point/need to push your beliefs or whatsoever. But today, I’m letting this kind of “nonsense” take over. What opinions are for, right?

I had a short conversation with my Lovebug yesterday about, idk, love. He realized that it’s all about timing or waiting for the right time or whatevs. And as usual, I felt like I needed to come up with a good response and try to turn this simple convo into a bloody debate. So I insisted to side with “will”.

What if you had a choice, would you still let Fate decide? What if you had a chance to do something today, would you still wait for fate give you a sign? What if you already had the guts, would you still let fate take over?

I believe in fate, though. The right timing, destiny, or whatever sweet thing you can commect with fate. But, honestly, if I had a chance to act, I would definitely grab that chance. ‘Cause who knows if there’s going to have another knock on the door? Who knows until when you can wait for those visitors?

Well, as I mentioned earlier, we all have different points about this and each of every thought is “right” in its own way. So what do you think?

By the way, happy birthday, Lovebug! No need for love letters. You know I have your notebook anyways. Hearts.

And thanks to shoti, Rob Jimenez, for the shots^.
