Until six months ago, Scampi & Chips also featured an array of recipes that I followed and photographed for you all to enjoy and make for yourself. But then I decided that it was time for me to start developing a second blog, to gain more experience, but mainly with a niche site. That is when I decided to create A Dash of Cinnamon; a food blog.
I set this blog up back in November 2015 and have made it a small, but fun project for myself and my Mum. My Mum used to be a Cake Decorator, and is still awesome at it, but her love for baking is where mine came from. I’ve been working on my own lifestyle blog for 2 years now (I’m doing a little giveaway, click here), so it’s nice to now share the workload for another blog with someone else.
My Mum may not be savvy when it comes to technology and setting up blogs or even clicking ‘publish’ on a post, but that woman sure knows how to Bake and make it look good! So that’s where we make the perfect team! We both do the baking for this blog, but make our own choices. I’m more likely to go for the safe option, whereas my Mum should be applying for the next season of Great British Bake Off.
I didn’t really know where I wanted to go with this post, other than to let you all know that you can now view my Food blog! As both me and my Mum work full-time and our weekends clash, we don’t have much time between us to bake, so don’t go expecting daily bakes! But we’ll try our best to keep this blog updated on a bi-weekly basis.
