We all love a good dupe for an expensive, high-end product; whether that’s beauty, hair or skin care. Personally, I’ve only ever found one dupe in my time – are you a huge fan of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum? Well the Palmer’s Face & Body Oil is the ultimate match…I’ve just never thought to do a post on it!
Anyway, back to today’s dupe! Recently I purchased the Ysl Touche Eclat Radiant Touch for quite a pricey amount, but after testing it at a beauty counter I just had to treat myself. Little did I know that I’d find a similar looking product for just £3 which happens to do the exact same thing, and offer very similar results! This is the W7 Light Diffusing Concealer. Quite the price comparison don’t you think?
Don’t get me wrong, I do love using high-end products from time to time as it just adds a little luxury to your makeup routine, don’t you think? But, I can’t justify spending a total of £200+ to have a makeup bag full of high-end beauty products, when I could get the same results for a fraction of this.
These two products help to conceal dark circles, but also brighten up the under-eye area for a healthy-looking complexion. In all honesty, the W7 Light Diffusing Concealer does have an additional benefit on top of the YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch, and that’s the fact that it also acts as a concealer. Whereas I can’t help but feel the Radiant Touch only helps to illuminate the eye area rather than also conceal it.
However if you’re looking for the version of this product that wears better for longer, then the Ysl Touche Eclat Radiant Touch will be your best friend. No caking or patchiness is to be seen, even after wearing for 12 hours straight, but with the W7 Light Diffusing Concealer you may find it starts to cake after a matter of hours. Never the less, they both provide equally good dark circle coverage and also help to brighten your under-eye area!
What dupes do you have to share?
