If it’s important to you, keeping track of your blog’s performance is a great way of knowing how it’s progressing month after month. For that reason alone, I’ve designed my very own Blog Stats Tracker which is one simple sheet that has you covered for the year. Simply download, print off, and fill in your stats for the corresponding month. You’ve got all your basic needs; main social channels, Pageviews, Sessions and Users.
Why bother? If you’re not curious to know how your blog progresses on a monthly basis, that’s absolutely fine! Not everyone sets up a blog to monitor these sort of things. But for those like myself who want to know where they could perhaps focus their efforts for following months, this is a useful and simple start.
I started monitoring mine using this Planner in January, and have noticed that Twitter is my most successful in follower growth and Bloglovin’ being the least successful. This made me assess my social profiles to compare against one another and see what improvements need to be made. However, just because one particular social channel is performing best, it doesn’t mean you can let it run free without any further effort. Instead, make use of this current success and use it to your blog’s advantage!
I currently have a range of planners in a similar style to this which I use on a Monthly Basis, but some are also made for daily, weekly or a post-by-post basis. So let me know if you’d like me to create a post around each individual planner, which you’ll then be able to download for free! Better yet, if there are any ones of your own or that you’ve found that you swear by then send them my way! I’d love to check them out.
