I love winter, but my thin California blood can’t handle real cold. I’m so glad I found out about Uniqlo’s Heattech line. I’ve been a loyal Heattech customer since the days where you had to special order it from Japan. Luckily Uniqlo is now available in major cities and online. I couldn’t make it through winter without it. A couple of snuggly Heattech knit caps were high on my shopping list this week. In other news, an inspiration quote ring that isn’t too sweet to pair with a mostly-black wardrobe. I had no idea this was possible.
Check out all of my favorite online shopping finds for this week…
1. Uniqlo Heattech Knitted Cap, $9.90
If you live in a cold climate, or just plan on visiting one, Uniqlo Heattech is a must-have. This range of layering pieces and accessories genuinely keeps you warm. I live in a part of California that barely qualifies as having seasons, but every year I manage to visit someplace very cold in the middle of winter. I have an entire Heattech drawer filled with tees, tanks, leggings, and socks ready for the next trip. And yet, I still find new pieces to add to my collection. I just stocked up on these Heattech caps. I picked up light gray and dark gray. It’s also available in six other colors.
2. By Terry Preciosity Eye Designer Palette, $58.00
This limited-edition eyeshadow palette has the prettiest range of purpley-grey-beiges. It’s perfect for green, hazel, or chocolate brown eyes.
3. Foundrae If Not Now Then When 18k Gold Ring, $1,995.00
I like the idea of jewelry with inspirational quotes, but in practice the vibe is often too precious for my personal style. This vaguely gothic, supremely luxe take on the genre is much chicer than the usual finds. It features an 18k yellow and champlevé enamel ring accented by a pretty diamond. The inscription makes it a beautiful choice for commemorating a personal adventure.
4. J.Crew Convertible Sweater Cape,
It’s cute and cozy, and kind of perfect for Christmas Day, right? Oh, and it’s on sale.
5. Everlane Foldover Crossbody, $150.00
This sleek bag has a similar modern minimalist vibe as that Celine bag we all love, but at a dramatically lower price point. It’s still 100% leather, crafted in Spain, just ultra-affordable and ethically made by slow fashion powerhouse Everlane. It comes in seven additional colors, including a gorgeous grass green that will look stunning this spring.
