3 Hot Date Ideas For A
Gregg and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary. That is 1460 weeks. We didn’t date every week, but we came close. In this post, I wanted to share some Hot Date Night ideas for Married couples. We have to make dating a priority or the years will pass by quickly and you will lose touch with your spouse.
I think back to when we got married and the undertone that people really didn’t think we could make it. Some days, that thought would cross my mind and I would quickly dismiss and focus on what is true. What was true is I loved my husband and it was God’s plan for us to keep this unity together. So keep us unified and passionate for each other, we dated!
Here are 5 Hot date ideas that we love doing.
Hot date idea #1
We love to do a dessert date night. I don’t know if it is because we love sweets or if it is the effects that Chocolate has on your mind and feelings. But which ever it is, a dessert date night is a fun night. One of our favorite locations is the Melting Pot. You can go to the Melting Pot and have dessert only. The fondue is romantic, sexy and fun.
Hot Date Idea #2
Picnic in the park. We are so blessed in Louisville to have so many parks in our city. It is so easy to pick a park and not go back to that one for a long time because there is so many to choose from. Going to a park is a place you can block out the noise. Find a quiet part of the park, pull out the blanket and just sit. Side by side, shoulder to shoulder and talk. Enjoy the outdoors, the smells of nature and the openness to let your conversation be real and deep. It also leads to a lot of cuddles and kisses.
Hot Date Idea #3
Hot dates don’t have to be in the heat of the summer. (sorry for trying to be a little bit funny) During the dead of the winter or a rainy summer night, light up your living room. Build a fire in the fireplace or light a bunch of candles to enjoy. Pull out the blanket and have an indoor picnic or dessert. Put on a classic movie and snuggle together. We love Pretty Woman, When Harry met Sally or if I let me hubby pick, then Iron. (he would say that is a true love story)
Regardless of the Hot Date Idea that you choose, the most important thing is that you take time, plan time together, get ready for the time together and then don’t let anything get in the way of the date. (unless it is life or death).
Marriage is hot & dating your husband should be hot.
Can you share ideas that you might have tried that would be fun for all of us to hear? Leave a comment with your Hot Date Idea.
