About Me- My Bucket List

I thought I’d tell you all about myself a little more. I want to be more personable not just a person behind a computer. So for a couple weeks I’m going to give you guys some insight into the not sick side of me. Sorry if I bore you guys because I think I’m kind of boring. But the first thing I'm going to share with you is my bucket list.

1. Go to Japan!

This is my absolute top thing to do before I die. I have to at least make it to Japan once in my life. Before I got sicker my goal was to live in Japan and be an English teacher. But at this point currently it doesn't seem realistic. I just really like it because the culture is so different from America. And there are so many pretty places. I especially like how one minute you could be visiting an old shrine and the next you could be in a giant department store.

Some specific areas I want to visit are Shibuya, Tokyo, Hokkaido and Okinawa.

2. Learn Japanese

Obviously this goes hand in hand with going to Japan, I want to be independent and be able to communicate with people. I actually just ordered some other books and things to help me learn Japanese. I'm hoping I'll be able to learn more and retain what I'm learning.

3. Go to a pink sand beach

This is an important one because I like to collect little things from nature. I especially like to do it when I end up somewhere new. If you went into my apartment you'd find little rocks, seashells, bits of driftwood and so on. I collected sand from the beach when I went to the Bahamas, so I'd like to do that when I visit all new beaches.

4. Ride the London Eye

I'm absolutely terrified of heights, but it looks like that would be an awesome chance to take so many great pictures. I love taking pictures and I haven't gotten the chance to take very many shots from high up in the air. So I will battle with my fear of heights to take some awesome pictures.

5. Own a Professional camera

This might be something every blogger wants, but I want a professional camera. I want to be able to take my own pictures that look fantastic rather than searching the internet. My parents have a really nice professional camera but I want my own. I'd be outside taking pictures of anything that doesn't run away from me. Photography is one of my favorite things to do.
