A verbal contract isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on because words are worthless
Words cost nothing and therefore prove nothing
Cost is what’s key, the price to pay is action
Actions you DON’T want to do
That’s when you know you’re committed
Anyone can work when they’re motivate on things they want to do but motivation is a luxury
It’s dedication that gets you to your destination
Same goes for who you let into your inner circle
She can tell you that you’re her world but her words don’t mean anything without action
It’s easy for her to be happy when you’re wining and dining her because she’s doing what she wants to do
But that’s not loyalty
Loyalty is about doing what you don’t want to do because you care about that person
And doing it consistently
That’s why the equation for loyalty = actions + time
The minimum price to pay for entry into your inner circle should be helping you move at the last minute if asked
Everyone else is an acquaintance
Same applies to you when you want to demonstrate loyalty to others
Same applies to your business success
If success was easy everyone would be successful
The reality is success means doing a lot of things you don’t want to over a long period of time
Things like cold calls, and paying taxes, and registering companies
Until you can afford to delegate what you hate, that’s the price of success
Talking about it means nothing
Time is the test of commitment, not words
So be committed and expect commitment from everyone in your inner circle
