But for many men, the virtual world become all consuming.

A recent study showed as many as 8.5% of young men are Addicted to video games.

If you’re struggling with video game addiction right now.

And you want to be free of it forever.

I want to show you how to beat your video game and get you addicted to the game of life.

How To Beat Video Game Addiction Forever

If you’re addicted to video games or anything else, it probably means you’re an obsessive person.

And that’s not a bad thing, in fact it’s a good thing.

If you’re not obsessed you’re bound to be average.

I’m an obsessive person and I credit all my strides in personal development to my obsession.

The problem is you’re obsessed with something that’s destructive instead of something constructive.

Whatever you’re addicted to, video games or anything else, the process is the same.

  1. Quit your destructive obsession
  2. Replace it with a constructive obsession

That’s it, that’s all you need to do.

Recognized your obsessive nature as a positive, and replace the bad with the good.

The bad is your video game addiction, the good is getting addicted to playing the game of life.

This is how you do it:

1) Amplify The Pain Of Not Changing

You know you don’t want to spend all of your free time playing video games, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. And you know you want to be able to create a life you enjoy.

You know you want to quit, and maybe you’ve tried before, but you keep coming back to your console or your PC.

The problem is the pain of changing, is greater than the pain of staying the same.

The pain of building a new life, is more painful than the pain of addiction.

You need to amplify the pain of being an addict.

Think back to all those opportunities you missed.

Think of all the people outside enjoying themselves.

Think of all the ways your addiction hurts you and will continue to hurt you.

Get angry if you have to.

Get to a point where you hate being an addict.

Take as a long as you want to think about it and get you to a point where you’re open to change.

2) Amplify The Pleasure Of Changing And Building Your Ideal Life

To get through to the other side and create the life you want, you need to link your dreams to pleasure.

You need to create an outline of the life you want to live and how good you’ll feel when you get there.

You need to think about where you want to live and what your ideal day is like.

And the more specific the better.

And you need to amplify the hope that it’s possible.

I have all the material you need to make it happen here for free:

  • Money
  • Women
  • Lifestyle
  • Fitness
  • Mindset

It’s my life’s work, and everything I needed to hear when I was 20 and addicted to weed.

Use those free resources to give you confidence and to build an action plan to the life you want to live.

Even if you have to sit there all day reading and watching videos.

Get to a point where you believe it’s possible and amplify the pleasure of what life will be like when you get there.

Sit down and take the time to figure out your mission in life and how great it would be to accomplish it.

Amplify the pleasure as much as you can.

From money to women to living where you want to how you look, picture all of it.

Or do what I do and build a whiteboard with all your goals and dreams.

And then organize all you want to accomplish with the Wunderlist to do app.

3) Make The Decision

Once you’ve really looked at your life.

And you’ve amplified the pain of staying the same.

And you’ve amplified the pleasure of changing.

And you’ve built hope for the future, even if it’s hard to see.

And you’ve developed your action plan, or at least a rough idea.

MAKE THE DECISION

Tell yourself you will no longer be a slave to your addiction.

It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve failed in the past.

If you truly and sincerely make a vow right now, that you won’t be a slave anymore, you’re free.

Congratulations, you’re no longer addicted to video games.

4) Say No To The Monster

Right now you’re probably thinking, it can’t be that simple.

I’ve failed so many times before, how do I know that this time it will stick…

That’s your addiction talking, and it’s an ugly Monster.

It wants to keep you in chains and will do everything it can to do so.

From using emotion, to logic, to pleading, to self-doubt.

But recognize this, you’re already out of jail.

The monster only has power over you if you let it.

All you have to do is tell it no.

Every question, objection, statement that comes from that monster – no, no, no!

Every reason for playing again – no!

Don’t argue with it, or reason with it, just say no.

No to the monster and all its reasons for why you should walk back into your cage.

No as many times as it takes.

And you’re going to have to say no a lot

Expect to have to say no thousands of times a day for the first few weeks.

And hundreds of times a day for the next few weeks after that.

That’s what most people don’t tell you about addiction.

The amount of times you have to say no.

That might sound daunting but it’s actually easy, you can say no to the monster right now.

And if the thought comes up again, you can say no again and keep reading.

It’s very, very simple all you have to do is say no consistently.

The monster tries to lure you back into a prison and you say no.

And eventually, whether it’s 3 months from now or 6 months from now the monster gives up.

That’s it.

5) Get Addicted To The Game Of Life

An addict is an obsessive.

And that obsession has to go somewhere.

And we don’t want you trading one bad obsession for another bad obsession.

That’s why you need to turn your obsession to the game of life.

To follow through on the action plan you created for yourself.

To commit to playing the game of life and all it’s missions.

Treat it the way you did your video game addiction, with obsession.

Focus on l

Hope, link to all sections

  • Level up your avatar with fitness and style
  • Level up your income
  • Level up the quality of women you can get
  • Level up your purpose by finding your mission, what you we’re put on this planet to do

Become a player in the game of life.

And if you can, find teammates to play it on split screen with.

6) Never Give In To Temptation

Now that you’ve beaten down the monster.

And are on your way to playing the game of life to the best of your abilities.

I want to talk to your future self.

That might be 6 months, 1 year or 2 years from now.

When maybe you’re a bit stressed, or even if things are going really well.

Where you might be tempted to say, “hey I can play one game, I’ve beaten the addiction.”

Do not give in to that temptation.

Some people can play video games in moderation, you can’t, and never will be able to.

Just like a former alcoholic can’t have a drink.

If that temptation comes up in the future, just say no.

And that’s it.

Play the game of life to the fullest.

Don’t be a slave to a screen.

Become a slave to the game a life 24/7.
