Most guys fail because they don’t know what it takes.

Because real change is fucking hard.

But hard isn’t the problem.

The problem is wanting it to be easy.

It doesn’t get easy until AFTER

Strength, confidence, endurance – come AFTER the fact, not before.

Before you have to power through the pain.

You think anything worthwhile is easy? – au contraire mon frère.

You gotta start at the bottom.

And the further you are from the top the harder you have to push.

Because success is pushing a boulder up a mountain

And the first leg is the hardest.

And your life is going to get WORSE before it gets better.

And it might not get better for a long time.

And that’s why most guys quit.

Because you need to make a lot of negative decisions to get that boulder to the top

Decisions you don’t want to make.

Decisions that you NEED to make.

10 hour days.

200 cold call days.

Days where you can’t take anymore.

Those kind of decisions.

Because that’s what it takes to get to the mountaintop.

But eventually you make it to the summit

And now you’re three years in and doing 70k.

And now you see the terrain at the top is flat.

It’s not easy, but it’s easier than uphill.

Now you get to make neutral decisions

Decisions you don’t mind making.

And half your business comes from referrals and current clients.

And you only need to do 40 calls a day.

And you’re on your way.

But it’s not until you get to the other side of the mountain that you get success.

Now you get to let it roll downhill

Now you get to tapdance behind that motherfucker.

Now you’re doing six figures and you got a cold caller, and a VA, and 2K for Adwords

Now you only work 5 hours a day.

Now you got half the day to do whatever the fuck you want.

Now you get to make positive decisions like

• What can I do that’s fun this afternoon?
• What girl should I see today?
• Where should I go on vacation?
• What else can I do to cut my workload down?
• What should I do with all this disposable income?

This is the place you want to get to.

That promised land of positive decisions.

The place where your daily decisions make you happy and “killing time” doesn’t exist.

The place where you never have to “get through” another day.

Now You’re Extraordinary

The opposite of ordinary.

ORDINARY is living to make more Negative Decisions.

More job, more nagging, more in-laws, more debt, more dinner parties.

Extraordinary is using negative decisions to get to positive decisions.

But don’t ever think you get to live EXTRAORDINARY because you want to.

Naw man – want is not enough

You don’t even get there when you’re stressed, struggling and striving.

You get there when the work is done and no sooner.

You get there when you make those Tough Decisions until you can’t take it anymore.

And you keep going past that.

And you never quit.

Then and only then does life gives you the good things.

Because Life Isn’t Fair

To the victor goes the spoils – not the guy who deserves them.

Because life doesn’t care what you deserve.

Life only cares what you EARN.

And EARN only comes after years of making Tough decisions.

And only then does it get easy.

Once you power through the doubt, the failures, the uncertainty – only then.

But by then you don’t need it to be

Because by then you’re tough as nails and hard as steel.

Because by then you’ve put in the work.

That’s the truth they don’t tell you

You don’t just manifest shit because you want it.

Or because you pray for it.

Or because you deserve it.

You have to EARN it.

And the further you are from the finish line the harder it is

Because life doesn’t care.

Life burns the baby who doesn’t know better the same as the professor who does.

Life doesn’t care that you’re a good guy who needs a break.

Life doesn’t care that you need more mercy than the guy who’s already winning.

Life doesn’t care that you’ve had it harder and more unfair than him.

Life has no mercy on the man pushing the boulder uphill.

Life only has mercy for you once you get to the other side – when you don’t need it.

Because life’s a bitch

And she only loves strong men.

So stop expecting it to be easy.

Cause that’s not how it works.

It doesn’t get easy until AFTER.

Until then you gotta get in there and get strong.

When you’re scared and tired and uncertain.

That’s when you keep going

You breathe it in.

And you keep at it.

For as long as it takes.

Cause that’s the only way.

You make the tough decisions

And you keep going.

Until the going gets easy.

And it will.

You just have to go through hell to get there.

So keep powering through to the promised land of positive decisions.
