Best of 2015 at Happy Go KL

What happened to 2015? It’s been a colourful year and thousands of new Happy Go KL readers have jumped abroad – thank you for each one of you! As it is time of reflection, we looked at the past year and thought we’d share the ten most read and shared posts of the year with you.

1.What to do with kids in KL

This post with the best – if not all – kids activities in Town was our most Popular post in 2015. We use this check list regularly when thinking of something fun to do with the kids on the weekends!

2. Getaways from KL

Where to go for a quick getaway or a weekend trips from KL is one of the most common questions on any forum or coffee table discussion. No wonder this post is always a popular one.

3. Review of Benbino

Malaysia is a country of foodies and not surprisingly restaurant reviews have been ever so popular. Benbino tops the list, but the posts on Ma Ni Thai and TTDI cafés are close runners up.

4. Best furniture shops in Kuala Lumpur

Many who have recently moved to KL struggle to find good Furniture Shops in town and it looks like this post has been helpful to many.

5.  Favourite budget shopping tips

Where to buy cheap frozen meat in KL or wholesale baking ingredients – this post has many penny pincher’s tips but also answers some of those “where to find x item” -type of questions.

6. Where to buy craft materials in KL

Crafty people around town keep on coming back to this post on Shopping Tips.

7. Stop the Haze

2015 was the year of the horriffic haze. The post on the reasons behind the ongoing destruction of forest in Indonesia made it to top 10 of the year. We truly hope it won’t in 2016.

8. District 21

District 21 was one of the coolest openings of 2015 and the review by little daredevils themselves keeps on ranking high in the statistics.

9. Children’s libraries in KL

We’ll make a New Year’s resolution to update this post on librarians around KL. International schools  good Libraries and huge book sales make libraries maybe less crucial than in many places but nevertheless they are fantastic places to take young ones who haven’t got access to school libraries and those older ones that devour through books.

10. Apps you need in KL

Another post that needs an update in the new year with new apps popping up everywhere!
